The morning at the Poddar house begins with a lot of noise. Kaveri is supervising the preparations for the grand Kuldevi Puja and expects everyone to be present. Abhira, however, is in her room, frantically preparing for a high-stakes court hearing. When she comes down to inform the family that she can’t attend the morning ritual, Kaveri takes it as a personal insult. She tells Abhira that a daughter-in-law’s first duty is to the family traditions, not to a courtroom.
Armaan is standing in the middle, feeling the pressure from both sides. He tries to explain to Kaveri that this case is very important for Abhira’s career, but Kaveri shuts him down. Abhira, refusing to give in, goes back to her room to finish her paperwork. She looks determined, but the constant taunts from the family are clearly taking a toll on her mental peace.
This is when Ruhi decides to play her move. She enters Abhira’s room with a glass of orange juice, pretending to be supportive. As soon as Abhira turns around to pick up her ringing phone, Ruhi “accidentally” tips the entire glass over Abhira’s open laptop and the physical evidence files. The juice soaks into the paper, making the ink run and the laptop screen go blank with a sizzling sound.
Abhira’s reaction is heartbreaking. She screams and tries to wipe the liquid off with her dupatta, but it’s too late. The laptop won’t turn on, and the papers are a blurry mess. Ruhi immediately starts apologizing with a fake concerned look, saying she tripped on the rug. Abhira looks at her with suspicion and deep hurt, realizing that her chance to prove herself in court is now almost zero.
Precap: Armaan finds Abhira crying in the room and sees the mess. Later that evening, while passing by the hallway, he decides to check the hallway CCTV and see that Ruhi intentionally practiced her “stumble” multiple times before entering the room.
