Karan reaches the city’s main temple following a restless dream about Preeta. The entire episode is a series of intense hit-and-miss moments that keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. Karan walks through the crowded temple, and every time he moves closer to the ‘Aarti’ spot where Preeta is standing, something or someone blocks his view. Preeta is there praying for Rajveer’s recovery, unaware that her Karan is just feet away.
At one point, Preeta’s dupatta flies and hits Karan’s face. He feels her familiar scent and stops dead in his tracks, whispering “Preeta?”. He starts searching like a madman through the crowd, calling her name out loud. Preeta hears his voice and feels a sudden jolt in her heart, but she can’t explain why it sounds so familiar. Before she can turn around, Nidhi, who followed Karan to the temple, sees them and panics.
Nidhi quickly grabs a large shawl and throws it over Preeta’s head from behind, pretending to be a fellow devotee helping her from the crowd. She then misleads Preeta, telling her that the exit she is looking for is on the other side of the complex. Karan continues to search the crowd frantically but only finds a small ‘Kanha’ pendant on the floor that he knows belongs to Preeta.
Precap: Karan goes to the temple’s security room and demands to see the CCTV footage. Tomorrow, Karan will see a blurry image of a woman being led away by Nidhi. He realizes Nidhi is hiding something and confronts her in front of the whole Luthra family.
