Jhanak 5th September 2024 Written Episode Update: The episode begins with Aniruddha thinking about Jhanak, who had once promised to stay by his side. He goes to a jewelry shop to buy a gift for Appu but can’t stop thinking about Jhanak. Despite losing all trust and hope in her, he never expected the accusations she made. Coincidentally, both Aniruddha and Jhanak end up in the same jewelry shop to buy gifts for Appu. Aniruddha had previously bought a gift for Jhanak from this same shop. When they see each other, they are both very surprised. The shopkeeper assumes they came to surprise each other, but when he asks them about it, they feel embarrassed.
After finishing their shopping, Aniruddha offers Jhanak a ride. Jhanak refuses, not wanting to be with a man who denied their child. Standing in the mall, they begin to argue again. Aniruddha doesn’t believe there was ever a moment between them that could have led to Jhanak being pregnant. Jhanak accuses him of trying to forget those moments on purpose. She once again promises to bring justice for her child and prove that Aniruddha is the father, but he refuses to believe her. He begs her to stop this fight between them, warning that it will destroy both their lives. However, Jhanak is determined to prove her child’s identity. She angrily leaves the place.
On Appu’s wedding day, the groom, Lalan, arrives with a group of people. His mother, Anuradha, becomes emotional, thinking of her late husband who had many dreams for their family. She wipes her tears with her clothes, and Lalan tries to comfort her.
In the dressing room, Jhanak helps Appu look beautiful as a bride. When Appu sees herself dressed up, she is filled with joy. Jhanak gives her a necklace she bought, and Appu is surprised and admires the design. Tanuja and Rini question Jhanak about how she could afford such an expensive gift. Jhanak reminds them that she used to work in Mumbai.
Lalan asks his mother to bless his marriage, but Anuradha reminds him that a Bengali mother traditionally doesn’t witness her son’s wedding. Meanwhile, Kajal, who used to like Lalan, feels upset when she finds out he’s marrying someone else. Anuradha asks Lalan to meet Kajal one last time. The episode ends.
