Anupama 12th September 2024 Written Update: The episode begins with Anupama asking Anuj about Barkha and Ankush. Anuj tells her that he plans to confront them and get answers. Anupama stops him, gently applies kajal behind his ear, and fixes his collar and sleeve. Anuj thanks her for her support and says that he wants to become his old self again. He tells Anupama that when she and Aadhya left his life, he had everything, but he didn’t want it—he only wanted them. Now that they are back, he wants to give them all the happiness in the world, which is why he plans to return to the office. Anupama says that Aadhya is her responsibility too, and she wants to do a lot for her. Anuj reminds her that Asha Bhavan isn’t just her responsibility either and says he will find out what has happened at the office during his absence. He plans to take action and promises he won’t return empty-handed. Anupama wishes him luck and hands him a magnet. Anuj thanks her, saying he knows she won’t say today, “Kapadia ji, I’ll be waiting for you.” He promises to come home, have tea made by her, and listen to her talk about her day. He kisses his fingers and gently touches her shoulder before leaving, making Anupama feel shy.
Later, Dolly drops Meenu off at college and drives away, but soon returns. She catches Meenu talking to Sagar and confronts them. Dolly accuses Sagar of trapping Meenu and calls him an auto driver. Meenu defends Sagar, saying there’s nothing wrong with being an auto driver and that Sagar is studying law and will soon become a lawyer. Dolly continues to insult him, saying he isn’t a lawyer yet. Meenu responds by pointing out that Dolly calls her “doctor” even though she hasn’t finished her studies. Dolly angrily tells Anupama that Sagar has trapped Meenu, citing that Toshu, Bhai, and Pakhi have seen them together. Anupama questions Dolly’s mindset, asking if a girl and boy can’t be friends. Dolly accuses Anupama of trying to ruin her daughter’s life after separating her parents. Sagar swears on Anupama, claiming nothing is going on between him and Meenu. Anupama goes to get a tiffin while Sagar regrets taking a false oath on her, thinking he should talk to Bala.
At the office, Anuj’s employees are happy to see him. They express their concern about the company’s condition, saying Ankush and Barkha have ruined it. They mention that they were told Anuj had gone to the US, but they stayed out of loyalty to him. Anuj apologizes and promises to fix everything, asking for their support. Meanwhile, Sagar confides in Bala about taking a false oath, and Bala scolds him. Anupama overhears them and begins to wonder if Dolly was right. She decides to confront Sagar, suspecting he might be hiding something.
In his office, Anuj notices Ankush’s name on his cabin and receives a call from Anupama. He expresses his hurt, saying that Ankush, whom he had always treated like a brother, betrayed him during his toughest times. Anuj admits that he could forgive Ankush for business betrayals, but lying about Aadhya crossed the line. Anupama comforts him, urging him to confront Ankush and Barkha about the lies involving their daughter, Aadhya. Anuj agrees and promises to return home to question them.
Meanwhile, Toshu is feeling unwell and asks a doctor to send him medicine. Kinjal brings him some herbal remedy and teases him about how Vanraj’s sister has taken over, joking that Toshu and Pakhi are getting what they deserve. Toshu, feeling competitive, vows to fight back.
Later, Ankush talks to Barkha, expressing his frustration that she trapped him while she enjoys life with Sara. Suddenly, Ankush sees Anuj enter the office and is shocked. Anuj confronts him and asks if he isn’t happy to see him. Ankush tries to act surprised and hugs him, but Anuj remains angry.
In the precap, Anupama tells Anuj that they will fight for his rights from Ankush and also save Asha Bhavan. Aadhya comes and asks if the Visarjan preparations are complete, and Anuj says yes. However, Hardik arrives with Rajpal and informs them they need to leave Asha Bhavan because it will no longer exist. Everyone is shocked.
