Anupama 14th September 2024 Written Update: The episode starts with Anupama giving hot tea to Anuj. Anuj thanks her and says they used to drink tea from someone else’s stall, but now they are drinking from her stall. He calls it a great achievement. He mentions needing a big lawyer with a lot of experience because the company is large. However, their financial situation is not good. Anupama says they don’t need a big lawyer, just one who needs a chance and not money. She reminds him how he has given opportunities to newcomers and helped them with startups. Anuj agrees, saying new people are enthusiastic and determined. Anupama suggests finding a lawyer who has just finished law school. Anuj agrees, and Anupama says it could brighten the lawyer’s future. Anuj thanks her.
Baa complains about knee pain. Toshu says she watches TV all day, but Baa replies that she runs after the kids with milk and food. Kinjal says Baa walks more than them. Meenu says she’ll write a painkiller for her. Kinjal asks where Ishu and Mahi are. Pari says Ishu went to tuition, and she doesn’t know where Mahi is since she’s not at home. Kinjal gets upset with Pari for not informing them. Toshu asks why Kinjal is scolding her. Everyone starts searching for Mahi. Anuj suggests they can take help from Sagar. Anupama adds they can also seek help from Bala Kaka and Babu Ji, who have experience. Anuj shares an incident where the guard risked his job to help him and says Mr. Mehta and others have promised to support him. He is confident that everything will be restored for Aadhya and Anupama. He jokes about paying for the tea, but Anupama tells him to wash the cup instead. They laugh.
Meanwhile, Meenu says Mahi isn’t home. Toshu is frustrated and asks why they are taking care of Kavya’s daughter. He says Kavya should take Mahi with her and asks if anyone called her. Baa says she did but didn’t tell Kavya because she’s already worried about Vanraj. Toshu questions why they should bear Mahi’s expenses, saying Mahi is Kavya and Anirudh’s daughter. Baa says Mahi is their family too and scolds Toshu for caring more about money than love. Toshu insists on calling Kavya, but Baa stops him, worried about what they’ll tell her about Mahi.
Anupama mentions they’ll do the Ganesh Visarjan at the tank behind Asha Bhavan to use the water for many days. Anuj wonders why people don’t celebrate festivals in an eco-friendly way. Aadhya arrives, saying she dropped Mahi outside. Hardik and Rajpal come to take them for the Visarjan. Aadhya asks who they are. Nandita explains they are Asha Bhavan’s owner, late Asha Behen’s sons. They say they need Bappa’s blessings because they’ll have to leave Asha Bhavan soon. Aadhya is confused, and Hardik tells her Asha Bhavan won’t exist anymore. Sagar gets angry, but Anupama tells him to calm down. Hardik and Rajpal say they are being polite, but could have thrown them out. Anupama firmly says they will not let anything happen to Asha Bhavan. Hardik tells her to pay the taxes, and they leave.
Toshu calls Kavya and tells her to come and take Mahi, but Kavya says she’s too busy and hangs up. Toshu complains about what kind of mother Kavya is, as she doesn’t care about Mahi. Baa scolds him for his attitude. Mahi returns home, and Kinjal takes her in her arms, asking where she went. Toshu also questions her and gets upset. Mahi says she went to see Badi Mummy. Toshu yells at her, saying her parents have left her behind, and threatens to send her to Asha Bhavan if she does it again. Mahi says she will leave home if that happens. Ansh and Pari support her, saying they’ll leave too. Everyone scolds Toshu for talking to Mahi like that.
Nandita is worried about where she’ll go with her son. Aadhya also wonders where they’ll go. Anuj reassures them nothing bad will happen. Anupama tells them not to be sad, as those who walk on the path shown by God will not face any harm. Sagar says he will take up a job, and Nandita adds that she has to go to the office since work-from-home isn’t possible. Bala and Babu Ji offer to work as security guards. Anuj tells them to focus on the Visarjan for now and to stop worrying. Anupama agrees.
Anuj confides in Anupama that Asha Bhavan is his responsibility now. Anupama says they have two battles to fight—getting Anuj’s rights back from Ankush and saving Asha Bhavan. She promises they will fight together and win.
Hardik and Rajpal discuss Vanraj betraying them. They approach Toshu, complaining that Vanraj had promised to secure a deal with Virani. Toshu tells them to forget about Vanraj and says he knows Virani personally and can help them with the deal. Rajpal asks what Toshu gains from it, and Toshu responds that he just wants his mother gone from his sight.
Everyone dances as they take Bappa for Visarjan. Toshu arrives. Anupama says they should bid Bappa farewell with the hope that he takes away their troubles. She performs aarti with Anuj and Aadhya. The children hug Bappa’s idol, saying they will miss him. They ask Anupama why they do Visarjan. Anupama explains that Bappa has to leave so he can come back again next year. Anuj and Anupama immerse the idol in the water.
Precap: Anuj, Anupama, and others dance to “Kashmir se Kanyakumari” and enjoy a meal. Toshu says he will stop them. The builder arrives and orders them to vacate the house within an hour.
