Jhanak 29th August 2024 Written Episode Update: The episode begins with a conversation between Tanuja and Arshi. Arshi tells Tanuja that she has decided to leave the house. Tanuja becomes very upset and tries to convince Arshi that Jhanak has been manipulating her, and that Aniruddha could never do something like that. However, Arshi has lost all her self-confidence and cannot be convinced.
Meanwhile, Lal and Vipasha enter the room and inform them that Shubha is working on a case to prove that Jhanak is a fraud. Arshi, however, is terrified of the potential defamation, fearing that if this news leaks, her image and career will be ruined.
In another part of the house, Shristi and Vinayak continue their argument about this issue. Shristi angrily speaks about Jhanak’s accusations and can’t believe that her daughter is being ruined by this “filthy girl.” Vinayak, on the other hand, has always believed that Jhanak tells the truth, and he fears that she is not lying this time either. Shristi then compares Jhanak to her mother Urvashi, who tried to destroy the career of Brij Bhushan, a famous dancer. Suddenly, a thought occurs to Shristi: she assumes that Jhanak might be pregnant with Aditya’s child but is deceiving Ani.
Arshi is questioned about the relationship between Jhanak and Aditya Kapoor. Arshi explains that Jhanak had a very close relationship with Aditya, who would do anything Jhanak asked him to. Vipasha also suspects that Jhanak and Aditya are plotting together to blackmail Aniruddha. Despite Tanuja and Vipasha’s efforts to comfort Arshi, she is completely devastated. Tanuja and Vipasha decide to investigate Jhanak’s past, fearing that Aniruddha’s life will be ruined if they don’t. Shubho has also filed a case against Jhanak.
The next day, Lalan arrives at the Bose house with his mother. His mother wishes to meet Appu before finalizing the marriage between Lalan and Appu. They meet Appu’s parents, who warmly welcome them along with Appu’s grandparents. Shubho is also present and is shocked to see Lalan’s mother, Anuradha. He recalls a past conflict between himself and Lalan’s father. Fearing exposure, he decides to stop the marriage to protect his secrets.
Shubho and Tanuja criticize Lalan and Anuradha, accusing them of trying to trap Appu. They both want to prevent the marriage. Vipasha teases them, pointing out that Lalan and Anuradha did not bring any gifts for the family. Lalan, however, defends himself against Vipasha and Lal’s comments. Suddenly, Appu enters, excited to see Lalan and his mother. When asked if she is willing to marry this “poor guy,” Appu happily nods her head. Shubho, worried about being exposed, vows to stop the marriage by any means necessary. The episode ends.
