Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 12th September 2024 Written Update: The episode starts with Ruhi saying to Abhira, “You have stolen Manish from me, I feel like an orphan now.” She cries. Manish asks, “Do you hate Abhira that much?” Ruhi replies, “Yes, as much as you love her.” Manish says, “You think I can’t love both of you? You are both my daughters.” Ruhi says, “You came to her event as her family.” Abhira tries to speak, but Ruhi doesn’t listen. Manish says, “I want both of you in my life.” Ruhi says, “Sorry, I am not your choice. Let me go.” She runs to her car and drives away. Manish tries to stop her. Abhira says, “She is telling us that you will lose her because of me, and I don’t want that to happen.” Manish assures her, “You are not responsible for this.” She responds, “You’ve given me a lot of happiness today, but Ruhi isn’t happy. My mom always told me not to hurt anyone.” Manish says, “This relationship is decided by fate. You deserve the happiness of this family.” Abhira replies, “Thank you, but I want Ruhi to be happy too.” Manish says, “You focus on your happiness, I will take care of Ruhi, don’t worry.” Abhira leaves.
Manish goes home, but Suwarna angrily breaks a picture of him and Ruhi. She scolds him, saying, “You proved Ruhi’s fears right today. Ruhi is your daughter, she lost her parents, and you left her alone.” She cries and says, “I can’t stay in the same room as you anymore.” She leaves, and Surekha follows her. Manish picks up the broken picture frame and cries. He says, “Abhira is also my responsibility, and I won’t let her suffer because of the past. No one will take away Ruhi and Abhira’s rights.” The “Yeh Rishta” theme plays in the background.
Abhira’s dupatta flies towards Armaan. He catches it, covers her with it, and apologizes for upsetting her. He tries to cheer her up and stops her from leaving. They share a romantic moment to the song “Aise Na Dekho Janam.”
Abhira says, “Our marriage is becoming a problem for everyone—Ruhi, Sanjay, and Dadi are not happy. I know you love Dadi, but I will make her dance at our sangeet.” Armaan doesn’t believe her, but she insists. Dadi overhears and says, “I’ll see how she makes me dance.”
Later, it starts raining, and everyone watches. Dadi says, “I don’t think the sangeet will happen now.” Krish says, “We didn’t know it would rain.” Armaan says, “The rain will stop soon, we should go now.” But then the car stops. Armaan gets out to check, and the other cars also stop. Manoj, Vidya, and Madhav ask what’s wrong. Abhira says, “I don’t know.” Madhav suggests they leave the car and go on foot to reach the venue. But Manish arrives and says, “No one can reach the venue. The lake has overflowed because of the rain.” Dadi says, “I knew something would go wrong. Let’s sit in the car and go home. The sangeet is canceled.”
Precap: Abhira faints while dancing. The doctor says Abhira can never become a mother. Dadi and Vidya tell Armaan not to marry her. Abhira cries.
