Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 18th September 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Swarna gets angry when she sees Abhira at the house. She questions Manish about bringing Abhira there. Manish asks Surekha to take Abhira to her room. Swarna continues to ask about Abhira, but Manish explains that Abhira is going through a difficult time, and she shouldn’t be questioned.
Ruhi is upset with Manish for bringing Abhira to the Goenka house. She believes that Abhira and Arman’s wedding would have been called off if Manish hadn’t interfered. Ruhi decides to support Arman in moving on from Abhira.
Abhira misses Akshara and feels emotional, thinking about how she can’t become a mother. She wishes for Akshara to come back. Manish feels sorry for Abhira. Arman decides to call Abhira, but he remembers that she cannot become a mother.
Manish assures Akshara that he won’t abandon Abhira. He regrets kicking Akshara out of the house and decides to ease Abhira’s pain out of guilt. He makes up his mind to stand by her. Kiara asks Kaveri if she would have made the same decision if something similar had happened to her or Charu. Aryan and Krish also ask Kaveri to understand Abhira’s situation. Kaveri regrets scolding Abhira. Kiara points out that girls have other priorities too. Kaveri remarks that no household would support a girl with a disability. Madhav agrees, adding that it’s good if Abhira refuses to marry Arman, or else the Poddars would keep taunting her for life. Sanjay and Manisha also argue about the matter.
Vidya says she feels sympathy for Abhira, but she cannot ignore Arman’s pain. She says that Arman must choose between his mother and Abhira. Kaveri advises Arman to think carefully, reminding him that Abhira can’t give him the happiness he deserves. Abhira decides to have a conversation with Arman about their wedding.
Arman then tells the Poddars that Abhira has refused to marry him. He angrily asks Kaveri and Vidya if they are happy with her decision. Kaveri becomes furious, believing Arman is blaming her. Manisha feels bad for Abhira and tries to defend her, but Vidya is determined to separate Arman and Abhira. Ruhi is pleased to learn that Abhira has refused to marry Arman. The episode ends.
