Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 4th September 2024 Written Episode Update: In today’s episode, Abhira learns that Kaveri wants custody of the baby if Abhira and Arman get separated. Kaveri claims that the third clause in the contract will prevent Abhira from leaving Arman. Later, Arman meets with Abhira, but she becomes angry at the Poddars for hurting her self-respect. Ruhi feels guilty because she doesn’t want to hurt Arman, but she feels helpless. Arman and Abhira argue, with Abhira accusing the Poddars of wanting her to become a housewife. She also gets upset with Arman for defending Kaveri. Arman agrees that the contract is unfair but insists that Abhira shouldn’t blame his family, as they love her. Abhira, however, believes that Kaveri’s contract is proof that the Poddars don’t truly respect her. She tells Arman that she will not compromise her self-respect, leading to a heated argument.
During their fight, Arman accidentally hurts Abhira’s finger, and Ruhi is shocked. Arman decides to talk to Abhira later, but Ruhi advises him to take care of his injury first. Arman dismisses Ruhi’s advice. Rohit notices Ruhi’s concern and she explains that she’s just returning the favor since Arman helped her in the past. Rohit suggests that Arman should treat his wound, but Arman asks to be left alone.
Meanwhile, Abhira reflects on the Poddars and worries that her love for Arman might fade. She feels conflicted about the contract. Kaveri pressures Abhira to sign it, threatening to withdraw her name as a loan guarantor if she refuses. Abhira realizes that Kaveri became the guarantor just to control her later.
Ruhi advises Abhira not to give up her dreams for the sake of marriage, but Abhira questions why Ruhi is concerned. Ruhi responds that she is concerned because she has started working now. Arman tries to comfort Abhira, but she speaks harshly to him, making him regret bringing up the contract. Abhira then questions Arman’s status, causing him to leave angrily. Abhira tries to stop him, but Arman meets with an accident, leaving Abhira in shock. The episode ends.
