The atmosphere at the dance competition is electric. Jhanak is seen in the green room, getting ready for her performance. She is focused because she knows Shrishti and Arshi are looking for any reason to disqualify her. While Jhanak is away for a quick prayer, Shrishti sneaks into her cubicle. She takes a small, jagged piece of glass and hides it deep inside the padding of Jhanak’s left ghungroo.
When Jhanak returns and puts on her bells, she feels a slight discomfort, but she assumes it’s just the strap. The stage lights come on, and Aniruddh is seen sitting in the front row, looking at Jhanak with pride. As the music begins, Jhanak starts her routine. The dance involves heavy footwork, and with every strike on the floor, the glass piece pierces deeper into her heel.
Midway through the performance, Jhanak’s face contorts in pain, but she doesn’t stop. She remembers all the insults she has faced and decides that she won’t give up. A thin trail of blood starts appearing on the stage floor. Aniruddh is the first one to notice it. He half-rises from his seat, his face turning pale with horror, but Jhanak catches his eye and gives a slight shake of her head, telling him not to interfere.
She completes the performance with a grand finale, even though she is visibly limping. The audience gives her a standing ovation, unaware of the sacrifice she just made. Arshi and Shrishti look on in shock, angry that their plan didn’t stop her. The episode ends with Jhanak standing tall on the stage, even as a small pool of blood forms under her left foot.
Precap: As soon as the curtains fall, Jhanak collapses. Aniruddh rushes to the stage and picks her up, ignoring everyone. In the medical room, the doctor removes the bells and finds the glass. Aniruddh looks at Shrishti with pure rage.
