Karan is seen driving restlessly through the city. He reaches the city’s main temple, where a special puja is being held. At the same time, Preeta is also at the temple, praying for Rajveer’s health. The entire episode is a series of intense hit-and-miss moments that keep the viewers on the edge of their seats.
Karan walks into the temple and stands just a few feet away from Preeta, but a large pillar is between them. As the Aarti starts, Preeta turns, and for a split second, Karan sees her reflection in a brass bell. He freezes and starts looking around frantically, shouting her name. Preeta hears his voice and feels a sudden jolt in her heart, but she can’t remember why the voice sounds so familiar.
Nidhi, who followed Karan to the temple, sees Preeta and panics. She quickly grabs a large shawl and throws it over Preeta’s head from behind, pretending to be a fellow devotee helping her. She then misleads Preeta, telling her that the exit is on the other side.
Karan continues to search the crowd, pushing through the devotees. He finds a small pendant on the floor that he knows belongs to Preeta. He holds it close to his heart, tears streaming down his face. He knows he was just seconds away from finding her. The episode ends with Karan standing in the middle of the temple, holding the pendant.
Precap: Karan goes to the temple’s security room and demands to see the CCTV footage. Tomorrow, Karan will see a blurry image of a woman being led away by Nidhi.
